This is a permanent opportunity located at our Hamilton, ON, location. The selected candidate must reside in or be able to commute to this office as this is not a rotational position.

The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall management of project proposals/bids, plans, budgets, and reporting throughout the project life cycle. Specifically, they will provide engineering support, assist in the development of detailed project plans and operating budgets, and ensure implementation of work processes and procedures. Responsible for preparing variance analysis and reports, developing and managing schedules, reviewing progress, monitoring changes in project scope and ensuring open communication with senior managers, clients and all project stakeholders. Key to this role is participation in the company health, safety, environment and quality program, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and leading by example to create a safe and productive work environment.
The ideal candidate is a Professional Engineer (P. Eng) with experience in design and project management of tank construction, or a related field in the industrial construction sector. A solid understanding of API650 and API653 tank design would be an asset, along with proficiency in reading and interpreting related specifications, drawings, and contract documents. The candidate must be highly skilled in AME Tank and Microsoft Office software and demonstrate attention to detail, flexibility, and motivation. Strong time management and organizational abilities are crucial, as are excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
