Facilities & Asset Coordinator

Platecon is currently recruiting for the full-time position of Facilities & Asset Coordinator for our Hamilton, ON location.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate general maintenance and repairs for all Platecon equipment
  • Shipping and Receiving of materials
  • Preparation including locating and staging all material and equipment for projects
  • Assist with daily operational activities and facility issues
  • Coordinate with vendors to trouble shoot equipment issues as required
  • Promote and practice company values in nurturing a safe, creative, innovative and enjoyable work environment
  • Participate in staff training programs

 Professional Experience and Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education or related discipline
  • 2–3 years relevant work experience
  • Experience with JD Edwards business reporting system considered an asset
  • Proficient in MS Office software
  • Detail oriented, flexible and highly motivated
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be team player but able to work independently, to meet intense deadlines, goals and objectives
